Commission Procedure

In order for the artist to begin the requested piece, the client must submit a commission form. If their desired project is not included in the list, the client is also given the choice to contact the artist beforehand. Once the client has filled the required areas in the form (e.g. contact details, canvas formatting, references, an overview of the client's desired art.) It is recommended to fill up the "Extras/Notes" section especially if the client has a specific direction for the piece. Here are the following details that will help clarify and expedite the commission process:1) The client's expectations: The client, at the same time, needs to ensure that their expectations are realistic and attainable for the artist. It is important to assess beforehand that the art quality displayed (gallery or commission samples) is suitable with the client's commission concept.
2) If the client has a clear vision of the concept they want to be realized, explicitly point-out elements such as: poses, mood of the scene and direction of the piece etc.

A deposit of at least 40% of the given price is expected before I begin on your commission, but after I’ve approved it. Once I have accepted the commission, the client will have 3 weeks to pay the money or I will not go through with creating the commission and you will have to re-request a commission, with an explanation for why you did not make that deadline.
Do not pay me before I request for a payment! You cannot determine by yourself when or what amount to pay. For example, you cannot pay me for a $60 art piece and expect one to be delivered, unless I’ve already agreed to the commission and then request the payment.
Currency is in USD unless stated and approved in the Agreement

Edits and Adjustments

The client is free to request any changes during the sketch phase for a reasonable amount, but after the artist has started «line art» and «base coloring», the client will be allowed two more edit chances. If the client requests more even after exhausting the edit limit, each additional edit will cost $25.00.

Refunds

  • If the client chooses to cancel the commission after the rough draft, no refund will be made.

  • If the artist cancels the commission prior the rough draft, 100% of the deposit will be reimbursed.
